Airborne data for exploration

Drone magnetic and geophysical surveys in South Africa

Use low-altitude unmanned aircraft to support high-resolution magnetic and geophysical data acquisition over exploration and project areas. We help scope the UAV platform, sensor, terrain-following, flight plan and specialist processing workflow around the survey objective.

What we deliver

Capability built around
your mission.

Every engagement starts with the operational requirement. We then align aircraft, sensors, people, procedures and outputs to the result your organisation needs.

Magnetic survey planning

Flight-line spacing, height, terrain, sensor separation and operational constraints considered around the geological objective.

Frequently asked questions

Useful answers before
you get started.

Can drones carry magnetometers?

Yes. Suitable aircraft can carry lightweight magnetometers, but platform magnetic interference, sensor separation, terrain following and calibration must be carefully managed.

Is a drone magnetic survey the same as a land survey?

No. A magnetic or geophysical survey measures physical properties for subsurface interpretation, while a land survey establishes position, surface features and boundaries. Some projects use both.
